Winter Solstice: AAPI Wellness and Healing – Dec 21
Posted by City of Philadelphia on December 21, 2021
Join community healers and leaders for a special time to come together with Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander residents and allies on Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to carefully acknowledge the painful racial challenges of 2021 and seek out healing and wellness as we move into the future.
The workshop will feature Dr. Noel Ramirez, founder of Mango Tree Counseling and Consulting, and Esther Castillo, Ph.D., founder of Chinese Immigrant Family Wellness Initiative, at the Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corp. Interpretation will be provided in Indonesian, Khmer, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
This event is sponsored by the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS) and the Philadelphia Office of Immigrant Affairs.
