Win Free Public Relations support

Do you need a new logo, letterhead design, brochure, or perhaps help with electronic media design? Have you been yearning to create a short video to tell your nonprofit’s story?

We’re happy to share two programs that might be able to help you with these projects.

Hypno Designs is accepting applications for the 2006 CreateAthon, the 24-hour creative blitz during which marketing and advertising firms throughout the country provide free marketing and creative services to a select group of nonprofits.

You can get all the details and download an application when you click here:

The application is due July 21, 2006. If you have questions, email them at hypno@hypnodesign.com

The Tripod Initiative, of Greater Philadelphia Filmmakers (which is a program of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office), teams student filmmakers with professional production mentors to produce short videos. Their current focus is on nonprofits, and they are planning to create public service announcements, videos, or other short media projects, for four organizations. There is a simple application form which outlines the criteria, available by contacting tripod@film.org

Tripod’s deadline is August 15, 2006 for a project that will take place between October and February.

And speaking of media as a great way to tell your story, if you missed Laura Otten, Director of The Nonprofit Center, sharing her expertise about nonprofit boards on WHYY’s Radio Times last week, you can listen from the link on our website when you click here:
