“What’s Really Up with the Covid Vaccine?” Town Hall for Black Men & Boys – Jun 15
Posted by Mayor's Office of Black Male Engagement on June 15, 2021
On May 11th Mayor Kenney announced that the City of Philadelphia will drop its “safer at home” restrictions put in place due to the rising trends in the spread of COVID-19. The last 15 months of our lives have been dramatically impacted not only by the virus, but by the vaccines and the conflicting narratives surrounding them.
Join the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Engagement on June 15 from 6 – 7:30 pm as we hear from the experts about vaccination. Both, The Philadelphia Department of Public Health and The Black Doctor’s Consortium will share the science and sound advice regarding the COVID-19 vaccines as well as answer any questions we may have.
We will also hear from some Black men from our communities as they share their vaccination experience.
With so much misinformation out there, questions are warranted but answers to those questions can help us make informed decisions and lead to the saving of lives. Let’s get some answers on June 15th!
