Learn how to effectively work with parents, other school personnel, and community resources in
– Identifying the signs and symptoms of child abuse
– Defining and recognizing the role of teacher as a mandatory reporter of child abuse
– Determining and citing examples of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect
– Evaluating cases of child abuse to determine the appropriate course of action
