West Philly Fall Fest
Posted by West Philly Community Center on October 8, 2018
Date: Saturday, October 20
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Join the West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood and Action for Early Learning for a day of fun for the whole family and local community members – from pre-K to retirees!
The West Philly Fall Fest will feature two adjacent sites with equally fun and informational opportunities. Show up on October 20th to meet representatives from local schools and community groups, get information on local Pre-K and Kindergarten options, learn about family resources in the neighborhood, play some games, and get some giveaways!
Action for Early Learning Initiative is a Drexel-led collaboration working to create an education support system for families to increase access to quality early childhood education so that children are better prepared for Kindergarten and reading by third grade.
West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood is a US Department of Education-funded initiative seeking to improve education, health and economic opportunities for children and their families in the West Philadelphia Promise Zone.
Entrances will be at both: Dornsife Center, 3509 Spring Garden Street & West Philly Community Center, 3512 Haverford Ave
