West Philadelphia Youth Workforce Summit scheduled
In most internship fairs, students wander through rows of tables, meeting different employers, and collecting business cards.
The Enterprise Center’s Youth Workforce Summit on February 3rd and 4th from 2-4pm turns that equation on its head. Twenty-five of the top students from West Philadelphia High School and University City High School will set up tables with tri-fold boards and resumes to market themselves and their experience to potential employers.
The Summit will provide a great learning experience for the students, and an opportunity for businesses to secure a qualified, enthusiastic student intern for the spring semester (February 22nd through May 6th).
The fair will be held at The Enterprise Center. Business and organizations that would like to participate, email Brian Mallon at [email protected] or call 215-895-4010.
