Wellness and Job Resource Fair – Nov. 7

Wednesday, November 7, 2-6 PM, McClure Elementary School, 600 W. Hunting Park Ave., Philadelphia
There will be fun kid-friendly activities as well as information stations set up by local environmental and public health organizations. This portion of the event will have a focus on public health, environmental education, and bringing awareness to organizations that offer opportunities for residents to learn about and connect to nature. Organizations include Fairmount Water Works, Philadelphia Water Department (PWD), the Sierra Club, and more!
Additionally, folks from PowerCorpsPHL, PWD’s Apprenticeship Program, and others will be on hand to present employment and volunteer opportunities, and share what it takes to get hired. Come meet and get advice from professionals working with the city and non-profit organizations that serve our community! There will be food, music/DJ, face-painting, a photo booth, and a Tree Giveaway!!
