Welcoming Center West

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 for the Welcoming Center West Open House.  Festivities begin at 11am at our 52nd Street location.

Welcoming Center West, a program of the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians, provides members of the West Philadelphia community — both immigrants and native-born Americans — access to opportunities for economic development.  Our services include:

* Small business support
* Cross-cultural events
* Conflict resolution training
* English language instruction for entrepreneurs
* Information and referrals for residents and entrepreneurs

This open house will feature an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony with special invited guests Senator Anthony H. Williams, Mayor Michael A. Nutter, and Councilwoman Jannie L. Blackwell.  We hope you will be able to join us to learn more about our work in West Philadelphia and celebrate the opening!  Please RSVP to Isabelle Rambo at 215-557-2845.
