Generocity seeks ‘early adopters’ for news, civic engagement website
Generocity Community Alliance, a local nonprofit that is building a website to promote community outreach efforts through news, networking and microgiving in the Greater Philadelphia area, has announced it will be going online by July 1st with a “beta” version of Generocity.org..
The nonprofit organization is seeking individuals and nonprofit organizations who will sign up to view the early version of the site and provide feedback about its tools and usability.
The new site will feature news stories about civic-minded individuals, nonprofits, large and small, and socially-responsible businesses addressing the critical issues in the five-county region. Using the most up-to-date social networking technology and tools, organizations and companies will be able to spread the word about their good works and reach out to the connected networks of people who care online. Members can post and share information on events and volunteer opportunities, donate, run online fundraisers and organize online networks in support of their work.
