Website Content Manager
DESCRIPTION: Innovative health information project needs a self-motivated, Internet-savvy individual to identify, enter and update Internet links and other health information resources on the Philly Health Info website (<a href="http://www.phillyhealthinfo.org/">http://www.phillyhealthinfo.org/</a>). Philly Health Info provides residents of the Delaware Valley with access to credible health information with a particular emphasis on regional resources and services. The Content Manager will also coordinate the creation of full-text content for Philly Health Info’s home page which includes submissions from community organizations and local health providers. This is a full-time, grant funded, one year position with the possibility of renewal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree.
Enrolled in Library/Information Science graduate program ideal.
Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially on the telephone and via email.
Typing proficiency.
Strong PC skills, including: Web browsing, databases, switching among multiple open Windows, cutting and pasting, and online data entry forms.
Flexibility and demonstrated experience in a team environment.
Critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated Internet and offline research skills and a commitment to maintaining an accurate and up-to-date resource database.
SALARY: $28,000-$35,000
