Webinars: Preparing 9th and 10th Graders for the College Admissions Process
Posted by Temple University on June 30, 2020
Temple University ensures that prospective students have a clear understanding of the important steps required when applying to college. You don’t have to wait until you are a senior in high school to learn more about the application process.
Temple’s Owl Blueprint Initiative—designed to create important access roadmaps to college for prospective students in Philadelphia—is now available as a virtual experience to prospective students from anywhere. These sessions focus on helping you prepare for the application process, the importance of financial literacy and developing time management skills. Students from all high school grade levels, parents and counselors are encouraged to attend.
Each session delves into application timelines, grade point averages, transcripts, personal statements, the importance of self-advocacy and more! Sessions are offered three times a week on select dates throughout the summer.
The Owl Access Blueprint Initiative is offered through Zoom webinars on select dates throughout the summer. Monday sessions are at 6 p.m, Tuesday sessions are at 10 a.m. and Friday sessions are at 1 p.m. through July. Each session is 45 minutes long.
