Zoom Event: When Social Capital Harms – Apr 29
Posted by RSA on April 7, 2026
Join RSA US’ Connection Commons to explore the tensions of both the bright and shadow sides of social capital.
We often celebrate the ways social capital helps us build trust, belonging, and community. But many of us have also seen and experienced moments when those same forces can exclude, divide, or even cause harm.
As part of the Connection Commons, we’re creating space to come together and explore these tensions. This interactive session isn’t about having all the answers, but about learning with and from one another—sharing the ways these dynamics have shown up in our own lives, and listening for what they might be teaching us.
Through conversation and reflection, we’ll look at both the bright and shadow sides of social capital and consider how we can nurture networks that truly foster inclusion, equity, and collective wellbeing.
Date and Time: April 29, 2026, 12:00-1:30 PM
