Webinar: Understanding the Current Political Climate & Taking Action for TGX+ Rights – Aug 4
Posted by Nonprofit Learning Lab on July 8, 2025
The political landscape for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive (TGX+) communities is changing rapidly, with shifting laws and policies at federal, state, and local levels. TGX+ rights, access, legal recognition, and safety are increasingly at risk. This workshop offers a clear overview of current political developments and actionable steps for advocacy. Participants will examine the real-life impact of executive orders, court cases, and legislation, and learn where and how to advocate effectively. The session covers the latest political changes, how they affect TGX+ individuals in daily life, and ways to engage in advocacy locally and nationally. It also provides strategies to build internal allyship in the workplace and support TGX+ communities externally. Attendees will leave with tools to take immediate action and create long-term impact. A Q&A session will address participant questions and deepen understanding. The workshop prepares attendees to lead meaningful, informed, and sustainable efforts for TGX+ equity.
