Webinar: Student Outcomes Beyond Completion: National Findings From the 2021 Strada Alumni Survey – Oct 27

Posted by Strada Education Network on October 19, 2021

At a time of falling enrollments and low student confidence in the value of their education, we need to do everything we can to deliver a valuable, quality experience for our next generation of workers, leaders, and citizens. One group that has a special understanding of the full value of their education is alumni. They have critical insights into how their education has helped change their lives well beyond simple metrics, such as income.

The 2021 Strada Alumni Survey was created to help educators and policymakers better understand students’ needs by speaking to alumni – people who can provide firsthand feedback about whether they were able to use their education to get a good job, do meaningful work, contribute to their communities, and lead a fulfilling life.

Join us for the public release of findings from the 2021 Strada Alumni Survey, a nationally representative survey of 3,309 alumni who completed their undergraduate degrees in the past 20 years. Learn how alumni view the value of education in their lives after graduation — including whether it helped them fulfill their goals, engage with their community, achieve economic success, and, ultimately, whether it was worth their time, money, and energy. Findings highlight equity gaps in these outcomes for Black, female, and first generation alumni — and they also point to the key undergraduate experiences linked to closing those gaps.
