Webinar – Affecting Change from Within the Community: The Role of Community Health Workers
Tuesday, April 10th 2:00 – 3:00pm EST
Community Health Partners for Sustainability is excited to host free a webinar with presenters Colleen Reinert and Anne Lee from our partner organization, Migrant Health Promotion. Across the country, Community Health Workers (CHWs) are serving as effective health and human service liaisons within their own communities. They draw upon personal experiences, initiative, motivation, and specialized training to serve their peers and improve the health and well-being of their communities. This session will inform health centers and other health organizations on the CHW model, national and local CHW initiatives, and resources for program funding.
