Webinar: The Longest Table: A Campus Civic Dialogue Event that Goes A Long Way – Nov 15
Posted by Campus Compact on November 5, 2024
The Longest Table, a civic dialogue event that features (you guessed it!) a long table and guided discussion, brings together people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and interests to share a meal and build relationships that help us work toward a shared vision for the future.
In this webinar, learn more about how this model was implemented by the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement at Washington University in St. Louis, with over 200 students, faculty, and staff coming together amid a divisive election season. Hear more about the impact of the program at WashU and how you can leverage this model to contribute to a climate of civil dialogue on your campus.
Date and Time: Friday, November 15, 2024, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
