On June 4, 2020, Juvenile Law Center and the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice released “Supporting Higher Education Access and Success for Youth with Experience in Foster Care in Pennsylvania: A Guide for Child Welfare and Education Professionals and Advocates.”
The Guide provides information on key resources, programs, and benefits that are available to youth with experience in foster care in Pennsylvania to support higher education success. The Guide is available here: https://jlc.org/resources/higher-education-guide-introduction.
In the webinar, we will provide information for advocates and supporters of youth in the child welfare system on how to use the Guide to help youth achieve their higher education goals and highlight the resources included in the Guide.
