Through the lens of today’s quickly evolving legal landscape, this session, led by nonprofit attorneys Dana Fruzynski and DJ Stoeberl of Cheshire Law Group, will cover shortcuts gone wrong and common misunderstandings and missteps that cause legal headaches when handling employment matters. Plus, Dana and DJ will touch on DEI considerations and help you make sense of how to further your organization’s DEI goals while staying legally compliant.
We will also look at best practices for establishing healthier processes and procedures – so that when you need to terminate an employee (never an easy task), your organization will be on much better legal footing, and you will find the process much less painful. In addition, we will share strategies to empower your team members to perform at their optimal level!
