The PA Statewide Afterschool/Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) invites youth, parents and staff in older youth afterschool programs to take part in a virtual event hosted by the Southeastern PA Regional Career Education Partnerships (RCEPS) Network. The Southeastern PA RCEPS Network covers Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties and the Lehigh Valley but this opportunity is open to programs serving older youth throughout the state.

Social Media Webinar for Parents: Demystifying What Your Teens are Doing Online – April 27, 2010, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This one-hour webinar will demystify social media tools and talk about what your kid is REALLY doing online through the exploration of Facebook, YouTube, blogs, wikis and the newest fad, Chat Roulette. They will also talk about how you can work with teens to protect his/her privacy and use these tools productively and safely. Michele Martin, a parent and expert in social media, and Jessica Roy, a 2010 graduate of New York University (NYU) with a BA in new media, will be your guides.
