The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) is a new group to strengthen advocacy, power and representation for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. On Friday, May 14 at 2:00pm ET, Washington Post race and economics reporter Tracy Jan speaks with Sonal Shah, TAAF president and former deputy assistant to the president for president Barack Obama, and Jerry Yang, TAAF founding board member and Yahoo co-founder, about the goals of the new organization and their personal reflections as we mark Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
