Black health professionals and leaders across the country are publicly encouraging their communities to trust the coronavirus vaccines that are starting to be distributed. On Friday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. ET, Mayor Steve Benjamin of Columbia, S.C., and Morehouse School of Medicine president and dean Valerie Montgomery Rice, will join Washington Post Live to discuss how history and long-standing health inequities have affected the views of some Black Americans, and the path forward.
