Webinar: Managing the Impact of COVID in Hispanic-Serving Institutions – Nov 3
Posted by Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) on November 1, 2022
Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to do so. In addition to traditional challenges faced in sustaining HSIs, its leaders must now incorporate a COVID-19 strategy to maintain campus health while ensuring business continuity. However, what is particularly challenging to HSIs and the communities they serve is their historical context of scarce resources and chronic underfunding. Resources range from finances to actual physical space to delivery of health services, which include vaccines. The purpose of this webinar is to assess the management of COVID-19 at HSIs and determine their needs to sustain campus health.
