Webinar: Leadership Under Pressure How Higher Ed Is Responding to Mounting Challenges – Jun 5
Posted by American Association of Colleges and Universities on May 27, 2025
Join colleagues from AAC&U (American Association of Colleges and Universities) and Inside Higher Ed for a conversation about new and long-standing challenges facing colleges and universities—and their presidents. The starting point for the conversation will be Inside Higher Ed’s 2025 Survey of College and University Presidents, conducted with Hanover Research. In addition to asking presidents why their jobs are becoming more difficult, the survey explored the factors contributing to declining public confidence in higher education, campus speech issues, artificial intelligence, and more.
The webinar will also share Inside Higher Ed and AAC&U’s resources for current and emerging leaders in higher education, amid the pressures on institutions and their leaders under the second Trump administration. Participants are encouraged to come with questions.
Date and Time: June 5, 2025, 2:00 PM
