Webinar: High Quality Community-Engagement Partnerships and The Carnegie Community Engagement Application – Nov 19
Posted by GivePulse on October 15, 2024
Join us for a thought-provoking webinar that delves into the complexities of building truly reciprocal and inclusive community-campus partnerships with colleagues from Duquesne University and Washington & Lee University.
This webinar considers why rhetoric and convictions often fall short of practice, and what we can do . It will explore:
- Barriers that institutions face in pursuing reciprocity;
- the benefit of focusing on “partnerships” rather than “projects” to achieve reciprocity; and
- insights from experts who will share best practices in how to share authority, responsibility and accountability with community partners.
Additionally, the webinar will provide key tips on how to weave the community’s voice throughout the application and how to prepare your partners for the application partner survey.
Date and Time: November 19, 2024, 2:00 PM
Not able to join us, no worries, register and we will be sure to send you the recording.
