Webinar: From Homelessness and Foster Care to Pursuing Higher Education – Apr 23
Posted by Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) on March 25, 2025
Obtaining a postsecondary education is crucial for breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness, and it sets the stage for a healthy, meaningful, and successful life. However, young people experiencing homelessness and those in foster care encounter obstacles entering postsecondary education. This presentation provides attendees with valuable tips and resources to help ease the transition from high school to higher education. This event is hosted by Tiffanie DeVan from PHEAA and a representative from Education for Children and Youth Experiencing Homelessness (ECYEH).
