Webinar: Food for Thought: Health and Hunger – Apr 8
Posted by Philabundance on April 5, 2022
We invite you to our upcoming Food for Thought: Virtual Conversation Series kick off on Friday, April 8th, 2022 at Noon with our first conversation: Health and Hunger.
Food for Thought is a virtual series designed to engage audiences and provoke conversation. This month’s convening will focus on the intersection of health and hunger and the impact that poverty and hunger have on the health and well-being of children and adults. Our conversation will feature a diverse group of panelists who will discuss possible solutions to these challenging issues, including increased utilization of federal nutrition programs and addressing food insecurity in health care settings.
This discussion features panelists from:
- Children’s HealthWatch
- Einstein Healthcare Network
- The Philadelphia School District
- Philabundance’s Ending Hunger for Good team
This conversation complements our recently-announced Good Food Policy, which is Philabundance’s commitment to providing the communities we serve with the foods they want and deserve – the flavors, tastes, and ingredients they know and love – while emphasizing healthy and nutritious foods that will help our communities thrive.
Our first conversation will highlight the policy’s first pillar: Nutritious Food.
