Webinar: Federal Budget & Medicaid Changes: Implications for PA – Apr 15
Posted by PA Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) on April 8, 2025
On March 15, 2025, the President signed a continuing resolution (CR) that continues funding the federal government for the rest of the current fiscal year, ending September 30, 2025. This action averted a government shutdown, increased defense spending and immigration enforcement, and reduced other domestic spending, such as the elimination of all earmarked projects.
Join the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and our partners at Duane Morris Government Strategies, the PA Health Access Network (PHAN), and Clearlink Partners to review:
- How the federal budget works
- Updates on how the continuing resolution is impacting nonprofit work
- The many ways that Medicaid funding supports individuals, communities, and our economy – from impacts on nonprofit employee health coverage to the less obvious access to things like mental health services
- What we need to know as we plan for the days and months ahead
Date and Time: Tuesday, April 15, 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM
