The speaker, Severina Ware, CVA is the Director of Volunteer Services at National Breast Cancer Foundation in Frisco, Texas, where she leads volunteer and community engagement efforts in support of the mission Helping Women Now. With over a decade of nonprofit experience, she specializes in building impactful volunteer programs and strengthening community partnerships. Severina is a passionate advocate for professional self-advocacy, empowering volunteer engagement leaders to own their value and step into strategic leadership roles. She is also a co-author of the book, I Said What I Said: An Anthology of Black Women in Nonprofit/The Black Women in Nonprofit Leadership Cohort.
