Students with autism have diverse characteristics and needs. In this presentation, the presenter will dispel commonly held misconceptions about this disability and present information on the latest developments in the field of autism. Educators will learn when to intervene and how to implement evidence-based strategies for supporting students with autism in general and special education classrooms. This is an interactive session with frequent opportunities to respond and apply what is learned.
This is an Act 48 eligible session.
