Webinar: COVID-19 and school funding – Apr 14
Posted by PA Schools Work on April 14, 2020
TUNE IN FOR OUR LATEST “LUNCH AND LEARN” WEBINAR on Tuesday, April 14 from noon – 12:30 PM. We will take a deep dive into funding challenges school districts will face in the coming school year, how federal stimulus dollars will flow to Pennsylvania public schools to help alleviate some of those funding gaps, and the challenges the state of Pennsylvania will face when attempting to budget in the face of a global pandemic. The Commonwealth will have to wrestle with revenue shortfalls, but it is imperative that lawmakers not attempt to balance the budget on the backs of our kids. JOIN US to learn about the economic realities PA is facing, and how YOU CAN STILL ADVOCATE FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
