This webinar will highlight the importance of ensuring that afterschool and summer learning programs are engaging young people with disabilities, underscoring the U.S. Department of Education’s Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) which makes available a free appropriate public education to eligible children with disabilities throughout the nation and ensures special education and related services to those children.
You will also learn about a range of strategies and resources that can be utilized to ensure that students with disabilities are both engaged and able to add their voices to afterschool and summer learning programs nationwide.
