Webinar: Closing the Gender Wealth Gap: Let’s Start at the Beginning, Understanding Wealth and Power – Jan 11
Posted by Women's Way on January 10, 2023
To effectively close the gender wealth gap, we must first develop a better understanding of how it functions by learning about the history of wealth and power in the United States. That’s why WOMEN’S WAY is kicking off our first Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum of 2023 with a discussion about how the past continues to influence the present and why we must use this knowledge to create new realities for gender and racial equity.
Join us on January 11, 2023, 4:00-5:30 PM for “Let’s Start at the Beginning – Understanding Wealth and Power.” This virtual forum will be moderated by: Alicia Atkinson, MPP – Managing Director of Financial Empowerment, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Panelists include:
- Candace Moody – Lead Radical and Ethnic Justice Community Organizer, Community Action Lehigh Valley
- Dr. Onaje Muid, DSW, MSW, CADC, LMHC – The Fatherhood Coordinator, The Foundation for Delaware County
