Webinar: Budget Office 101 – May 20
Posted by Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations on May 20, 2025
Please join The Peoples Budget Office and host Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC) for an informational Budget structure 101 webinar. This webinar will explain the basics of the budget and how the process works in Philadelphia and how certain funding is applicable to CDCs and community based organizations.
The People’s Budget uses public art, education, and advocacy to empower residents to engage directly in shaping how public funds are allocated. By making the budget process transparent, accessible, and playful. This is to ensure that all Philadelphians—regardless of background, age, or experience—can have a say in how their city is built and resourced.
This will be led by Phoebe Bachman, Facilitating Artist at The Peoples Budget Office. The webinar is free and open to Philadelphia CDC’s and neighborhood-based nonprofits. The webinar will be virtual and held via Zoom and will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, with time for Q&A and sharing resources.
Date and Time: Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 12:30-1:30 PM
