Open Educational Resources (OER) are garnering a great deal of attention in higher education today—and not only because they save students money. The adoption of OER for course design and in course settings is also being found to address a range of student success challenges. This webinar will situate recent research regarding OER within this national landscape, highlighting how they contribute to student success and providing concrete examples, strategies, and “lessons learned” from OER initiatives at an HBCU.
