Webinar: Applying the Evidence: Services & Strategies to Improve Student Outcomes – Mar 11
Posted by National College Attainment Network on February 25, 2020
Research and common sense show that offering tuition and other financial supports can help students access higher education, but we are learning that many of these capable students never succeed in meeting their education goals. Fortunately, a growing body of evidence shows that additional supports and strategies can significantly boost students’ credit accumulation and graduation rates.
Evan Weissman from MDRC will share findings from rigorous studies which identified effective strategies; he will discuss how these findings have helped systems and institutions develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve student success. This webinar will include lessons showing how coaching and other services and strategies can boost success, and how they can be woven together through partnerships to amplify their impact.
