Webinar: America’s Workforce: From Policy to Practice – Jul 30
Posted by Bipartisan Policy Center on July 22, 2025
In April, President Trump signed an executive order directing agencies to review federal workforce programs, identify opportunities for modernization, and create a new national strategy to addresses the country’s urgent workforce needs. This executive order comes at a critical time as workers and employers face a rapidly changing economy and technological disruption from artificial intelligence in addition to longstanding challenges. With renewed attention on challenges in our education and workforce systems, the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Commission on the American Workforce is dedicated to developing a comprehensive, bipartisan strategy to reimagine and strengthen our education and workforce systems and expand economic opportunity for all Americans.
Join BPC and officials from the Departments of Education and Labor for insights into the administration’s approach to federal workforce programs and the importance of interagency cooperation, followed by an expert panel discussion on bridging the gap between federal policy and state implementation.
This event will be held virtually on July 30, 1:00-2:00 PM.
