Webinar: Advancing equity through shared measurement: Lessons from connecting virtually with communities during COVID-19 – Mar 17

Posted by Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) on March 9, 2021

Developing and using a common set of measurable goals that reflect shared priorities across systems and communities can help align decisions, policies, and practices—and achieve more equitable health and well-being. To aid that effort, the American Institutes for Research (AIR), with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, developed five Guiding Principles to Align Systems with Communities To Advance Equity through Shared Measurement. To center communities’ perspectives in the principles, our team collaborated with CCPH to listen to community members share how they would like to see systems work together to center their communities’ values, needs, priorities and actions. AIR and CCPH partnered with six community-based organizations to understand what community members want to see improved, what having an equal role in initiatives looks like from their perspectives, and what accountability means to them.
