We Are All Homeless: Seminar and Art Exhibit with Willie Baronet
Harnwell College House Rooftop Lounge, 3820 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Willie Baronet has been buying and collecting signs from people on the streets since 1993. What began as a way to deal with discomfort and fear around seeing and connecting with people on the streets, turned into the realization that “there is no us and them. There’s just us.” Baronet now uses the signs in art installations in hopes to raise awareness and compassion, and to start conversations about the many causes of homelessness.
