Watershed/Program Coordinator
DVEF provides young people and their educators the leadership skills, resources and knowledge to improve the environment and quality of life in their communities through local action projects. Will assist in watershed program development, teacher recruitment, training and support (telephone, email and classroom visits); work with educators and students; network educators and connect with community resources; administer program evaluation. B.A. Experience in environmental education, classroom teaching desirable. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills. Effective when dealing with community and business leaders, public agencies, and CBOs. Work independently and as a team member.
Flexible in work schedule (some evenings and weekends). Must have the means and willingness to travel in the five-county Philadelphia region. Salary: 28-34K (w/benefits), DOE.
