Audience: Upper elementary, middle school
Introduce students to stream and river ecosystems through a classroom-based tour of a virtual watershed. Participants will gather data on the chemistry and the biology of a stream and use problem-solving skills to determine the location of their water sample. “Watershed Tour” is a notebook full of opportunities for hands-on experience and includes mapping activities, habitat assessments and activities that focus on the impact of land-use on water quality.
