We are now learning the true price of water in the context of the region’s aging infrastructure system and in the current economic and political climate — how it’s managed, new regulations impacting development, delivery and distribution channels, and innovative financing and privatization. Hear from Nick DeBenedictis, Chairman, President and CEO of Aqua America, the locally-based publicly-traded company providing drinking water and wastewater services for 3 million people in 14 states including PA and NJ; Dr. Paul K. Marchetti, Executive Director of PENNVEST, the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority which funds sewer, stormwater and drinking water projects; and Howard Neukrug, Philadelphia’s Water Department Commissioner. Joe Manko, of Manko Gold Katcher & Fox, will moderate the breakfast forum at the offices of the DVRPC in Philadelphia.
