Waste Watchers needed, Philadelphia Marathon

Be a Waste Watcher at the 2013 Philadelphia Marathon
The Philadelphia Marathon is partnering with the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability and the Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service for a 3rd year to create a team of Waste Watchers – volunteers who educate race attendees about recycling and composting and help attendees sort their waste into the correct bins. Last year Waste Watchers helped the race divert 87% of race waste from the landfill!
The Marathon is November 16 and 17, and we need volunteers for both days. Find more information and sign up for a shift here!
