Waste Watchers needed at Philadelphia Marathon

In partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service and the Philadelphia Marathon, the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability is recruiting Waste Watchers volunteers! Waste Watchers volunteers: help educate race attendees about recycling and compost while also helping the Marathon reach an ambitious goal of 85% waste diversion from landfills!
Date: Sat. Nov. 22nd and Sun. Nov. 23rd
Support Needed: Waste Watcher volunteers help eventgoers sort their trash, recycling, and compost into the right containers. We need volunteers at the race Start/Finish, water stops, and spectator areas!
