Walking the Walk Informational Session
Posted by Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia on May 12, 2014
Is Walking the Walk a good fit for teenagers in your congregation or school?
Walking the Walk is winding up its 9th program year and we are already planning for program year 2014 – 2015. To date, 400 teens from 30 congregations and schools have participated in this year long program. Next year, we will be running several “networks” or “groups” in the Philadelphia area. There is space for a couple more congregation or school partners. Now is the time to explore whether you would like to be a part of this program. Early bird registration for partner congregations/schools, with discount, is August 1, 2014.
Attend a Walking the Walk Informational Session. It is important that interested congregations/schools send a representative to an Info Session. Informational sessions will be held at two different times and locations for your convenience.
Please RSVP to Marjorie (mns@interfaithcenterpa.org) for one of these sessions:
Wednesday, June 11, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Location: Congregation Rodeph Shalom
615 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19123 (parking lot behind the building)
Thursday, June 12, 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Reformation Lutheran Church of Media
102 W Rose Tree Rd, Media, PA 19063
NOTE: If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, please let me know. We can schedule an alternative.
