Walk to End Domestic Violence
On Saturday, October 25, 2008, State Senator LeAnna M. Washington will host the Walk to End Domestic Violence along West River Drive in Philadelphia. The event will raise funds for the 24-hour domestic violence hotline which is run by Philadelphia’s four domestic violence programs: Women Against Abuse, Women In Transition, Lutheran Settlement House and Congreso. Registration begins at 9 am and the event begins at 10:30 am, rain or shine. For more information, contact Pamela Smith-Chavis at 717-783-2175 or email her.
