Voter Registration Rally
Posted by Center for Returning Citizens on September 22, 2014
The BLOC Party is a voter registration rally for formerly incarcerated persons, friends and neighbors in Philadelphia. The rally will be held on September 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. in Vernon Park at 5800 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. There are more than 300,000 people returned from prison or jail who now live and are eligible to vote in Philadelphia, and unifying these voters has real potential to impact election results! The rally will host organizations that provide services for the formerly incarcerated, their families, and the community. There will be children’s activities, a food court and live performances. All are welcome!
