Help Turnaround West Philly High
Volunteers Needed
The West Philadelphia High School Community Partners are beginning a new initiative to reach out to parents. We will be doing home visits, house meetings, and calls to absent students. We need your help to make a change. We are seeking individuals who would be willing to volunteer one evening per week to make phone calls or visit homes of parents of West Philadelphia High School students. West Philadelphia High School is trying to make a major turn-around, but we can’t do it without the help of the community. Student attendance and parent involvement are major problems, but we believe that by having caring community members reach out to parents, we can make a difference.
Training and recognition awards provided.
To sign up or for more information, contact Eric Braxton at 215-665-1400 x 3312 or ebraxton@philaedfund.org.
