Volunteers Needed, Weatherization Project
Posted by on November 10, 2006
This email is to inform you of an upcoming volunteer opportunity at the Friends Neighborhood Guild THIS Saturday, November 18th from 9:30am until 2pm. We?ll start off with a one-hour training on how to weatherize your home or apartment in order to save on heating costs and conserve energy. Afterwards, we?ll weatherize the Guild?s two very old buildings. If you are interested in joining us ? whether for both the workshop and the weatherization or just the workshop ? please contact me as soon as possible.
Also on Saturday, we will also be offering FREE art classes from 10am to 1pm. They are led by members of Art & Soul, a new organization at Haverford College. Media will include painting, drawing, collage, and creative writing. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer!
Please don?t hesitate to contact me with any questions or for more information. I look forward to hearing from you and to (I hope) seeing many of you this Saturday.
