United2Feed volunteers needed
United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey is recruiting volunteers during National Volunteer Week (April 5-12) to help in pre- and post-event activities at Campbell’s Field, Rivershark’s Stadium, to prepare for our annual United2Feed event.
At this event corporate sponsors will pack 5,000 meal kits to be distributed around the region.
UWGPSNJ needs your assistance in ensuring the event runs smoothly by moving and sorting food, organizing tables, making boxes and lifting and packing boxes. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Dates to volunteer include: April 7, 8 and 10 from 9am to 3pm.
In appreciation, United Way and the Camden Riversharks will provide volunteers with two complimentary tickets valid for the Riversharks home opener weekend. Volunteers can choose to attend a game on May 2–4.
