Volunteers needed to lead technology workshops

TechGirlz is a 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 2010 by Tracey Welson-Rossman, CMO of Chariot Solutions. TechGirlz is accomplishing its mission through the creation of free, fun, interactive “TechShopz” led by industry professionals, leaders and students. We share our free workshop curriculum with companies, organizations, schools and community groups so they can inspire girls around the world with technology.

April 28th, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Electronic Funny Faces: Circuits with LittleBits
Volunteers Needed: Teaching Assistants
Location: Haddonfield Public Library, Haddonfield, NJ 08033

April 28th, 9:30 AM-4:15 PM (2.5 hour shifts), Table Staff at Philadelphia Science Carnival
Volunteers Needed: Table Staff to work with girls who stop by, giving brief demos of “What’s Inside a Computer?” Training Videos Provided.
Location: Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia

May 1st, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Code & Play Your Own Game with Makey Makey, Scratch, and a DIY Game Controller
